My work
Below you can find a selection of my writing. Whilst an interest in the natural world and landscape informs much of my writing, my work is wide-ranging and showcases my adaptability.

I wrote a print and online piece for the Guardian UK on how stopping using Google Maps helped me make more meaningful connections with my surroundings. This is part of my ongoing work on our perceptions of landscapes, and how this impacts our treatment of the natural world. You can read it here.

My journalism was featured in Issue 42 of Wisden's quarterly magazine, The Nightwatchman. Challenging what I saw as a lack of ambition from the English Cricket Board in terms of making cricket more sustainable, I stated the case for why it was imperative to do so, and explored how they might go about it.

'Solstice Poem' appeared in Issue 22 of Write On! Magazine. It's a piece that tries to capture two distinct moments in time - the heat shimmer of the summer solstice, and the starkness of deep winter. You can read it here.
